Pet Portraits at Whisby Nature Park

DO YOU WALK YOUR DOG AT WHISBY NATURE PARK?

On Sunday the 2nd of August, I will be drawing live postcard pet portraits at the Natural World Centre in Whisby Nature Park. You do not need to bring your dog and the dog does not have to pose. Just send me your favourite photo, or I can take a photo if your dog is with you. Then you can go for a walk or have a bite to eat at the café, and I will let you know when your portrait is done!

Portraits are £20 each. They are made with black and grey archival ink and measure 4"X6", about the size of a standard postcard or photograph.

For multiple pets, it is best to order multiple individual portraits due to the size. These will be discounted.

Do I need to book a slot?

No, just pop in whenever you like to place an order.

How long will it take?

About 20-25 minutes per portrait, but you can pick it up any time if you're planning to walk further. Please note there may be a queue if I'm working on multiple pieces and I will let you know about the wait time.

Does my dog need to sit still for 20 minutes?!

No, I can take a photo or you can send me your favourite picture.

I haven't brought my dog with me, can you still draw them?

Yes, if you have a smartphone with photos of your dog, just send your favourite to me.

Does it have to be a dog?

I have also drawn cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs and even the odd snake!

Can you draw people?

Not today, but I'm planning commission slots for people portraits in the near future.
